What is the Pacific Northwest Regional Science Fair?

It's the Regional Science Fair where students from local and school fairs are selected to advance and compete.  From this level, selected projects will be offered the opportunity to compete in the Canada Wide Science Fair.

Who Attends the Pacific Northwest Regional Science Fair?

Each year, between 60 and 100 students in Grades 1 through 12 attend the regional fair.  The Pacific Northwest Region extends from Haida Gwaii in the West to Houston in the East and from Stewart in the North to Kitimat in the South.  

How do Students Participate in the Pacific Northwest Regional Science Fair?

Participating students start at the local level in a school or district science fair where they gain valuable feedback and experience. They then have the opportunity to advance to the Pacific Northwest Regional Science Fair.  Advancing students must register in advance.
