Northwest IdeaLinx 2007

The Northwest Science & Innovation Society hosted Northwest IdeaLinx on June 14, in both Kitimat and Terrace.  IdeaLinx is an event which brings together business, industry and the public sector in our region with12 UNBC researchers visiting from the Prince George campus.  The purpose of this event is to provide an environment in which entrepreneurs and researchers can discuss new ideas and research in an informal setting. Researchers were in attendance from a variety of UNBC academic departments including forestry, environmental engineering, geography, computer science and business.

At this event, invited participants are seated at round tables with others who are interested in innovative thinking and moving new technologies towards commercialization. By bringing together the academic and business communities, we hope to stimulate innovative thinking throughout Northwest BC.
